I was born and raised in Topeka; I’m a Shawnee Heights alum and I’m graduate of Washburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Media. I started my broadcasting career with the Mid-Plains League where I got to do baseball play-by-play for two incredible seasons. This past high school athletic season, I was one of three producer engineers/board operators, but my big break came this winter when I was able to help cover the Class 5A state basketball tournament from Emporia.

I was a high school girls basketball coach at Jefferson County North HS in Winchester, KS as well as in the state of Florida. I was on KMAJ last February and March announcing basketball games at the end of the season.
I enjoy watching sports, playing golf and spending time with my family.
