DONIPHAN COUNTY (KSNT) – A 54-year-old Manhattan man died on US-36 Highway after crashing into a culvert and fence.
Around 6:30 a.m. on Monday, the 54-year-old was driving a 2007 Peterbilt west on US-36 when the vehicle went off the road to the north. The truck hit a culvert and continued into a cornfield where it came to rest, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The KHP reported that it was unknown whether the driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
