JEFFERSON COUNTY (KSNT) – A 56-year-old Ogden motorcycle driver and a 64-year-old Topeka woman were seriously injured in a crash in Jefferson County on Sunday.
At 11 a.m., the 56-year-old man was driving west on US-24 Highway and braked for a vehicle in front of him. He lost control of the motorcycle and hit a Nissan Frontier driven by a 75-year-old Topeka man, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP).
The KHP reported that the 56-year-old man and the 64-year-old woman had serious injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The KHP reported that the occupants of the Nissan were wearing seatbelts and the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
