What We’re Tracking
- Isolated storms early Thursday
- Hotter weather moving in
- More storm chances late in the weekend
Partly cloudy for most of the night with temperatures only falling into the lower 70s. A few isolated to scattered storms are possible over the eastern half of the region in the early hours of Thursday.
Hotter weather ahead with south wind 10-20mph nearly every day through the weekend. Highs will top out in the lower to middle 90s for Thursday and perhaps a few degrees hotter on Friday. This could drive the heat index to 100° or slightly higher by the end of the week.
A few storms are possible by Sunday into Monday as temperatures cool off just a bit for early next week. Highs will drop back into the upper 80s by then.
