TOPEKA (KSNT) – First responders took an individual to a local hospital after reports of a pedestrian vs vehicle crash in downtown Topeka on Wednesday.
City of Topeka spokesman Dan Garrett told 27 News that officers with the Topeka Police Department were called around 2:50 p.m. on Aug. 6 to the area of Southwest Second Street and Southwest Tyler Street on reports of a possible hit-and-run incident. Police arriving at the scene found one person with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
Garrett said first responders took the individual to a local hospital for treatment. More information on this incident will be added to this article as it becomes available.
