TOPEKA (KSNT) – Kansas transportation officials say an I-470 bridge will be temporarily closed on Wednesday.
Kate Craft with the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) said in a press release that an I-470 bridge in west Topeka will be temporarily closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 20. The closure will impact the westbound I-470 flyover bridge leading to westbound I-70.
Craft said drivers should use alternative routes during the closure. Workers will be completing survey work on the bridge deck surface during this operation.
