WABAUNSEE COUNTY (KSNT) – State troopers have released the identity of the man killed in an I-70 crash on Wednesday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) reports the crash occurred around 8:20 a.m. on Aug. 20 on eastbound I-70 near where it meets McFarland Road. A Ford Transit was traveling in the right lane on I-70 heading east when one of its rear tires blew.
The driver of the Ford lost control and entered the grass median on the highway. The Ford then rolled multiple times with two of its 13 occupants being ejected.

The KHP said that Isaiah Adkins, 23, of Ohio was killed in the crash. The other occupants of the Ford, all of them men from Ohio, were transported to local hospitals for treatment of injuries ranging from minor to severe with two being life-flighted from the scene.
