TOPEKA (KSNT) – A dog show is in town this weekend, and it’s paws-itively the place to be!
The Capital City Cluster Dog Show is back at Stormont Vail Events Center. There are lots of things going on inside and outside for the public to attend for free. With the hot temperatures today, dogs are making a splash and taking dives.
27 News spoke with Jaiden Smith, who was with the Diving Dogs activity outside, about what his favorite part of the event is.

“My favorite part is seeing the dogs that come out from around the country,” Smith said. “They love doing it. They go up there. They tried the one day and then they just get hooked for the whole weekend. They get so happy about it. They get really happy because their dog gets into it and the dog’s happy and it’s just a good, good time.”
The dog show will continue throughout the weekend until Sunday, August 25, 2025. For more information on the show, click here.
