Working for you, 27 News spoke with the co-owner of the gym, Jason Sartor, on why this class is important for them to offer.
“We have a coach here who has a daughter who does hybrid learning,” Sartor said. “So kind of seeing her here in the afternoon kind of let us know that, hey, there are more kids that could use like a P.E. class. Something for them to do during the day that’s physical and also teaches them healthy nutrition habits, healthy habits just all around. “
“Well, we want them to exercise and yoU know be athletic,” Lindsey Pozarek, mom of a student in the class, said. “And I attend the gym here at this gym. I’ve attended this gym for ten years now. They just show them how to lift weights and you know workout, have fun, play games and it’s just a good environment. “
