OZAWKIE (KSNT) – Jefferson County officials will be leading the search for a man who went missing after the ABATE Bike Rally at Paradise Point in Ozawkie.
Patrick Crim, a 34-year-old white man, has been missing from the ABATE Bike Rally at Paradise Point in Ozawkie, Kansas, since Saturday, Aug. 30.
Crim was last seen at 9:45 p.m. on Saturday wearing a tan t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, and slide-on sandals. He may have been carrying a silver flashlight and wearing a ballcap, although these details are uncertain.
“We need all the public help we can get, ping locations are showing in Topeka but I know my son well enough, he would not abandon his children, he would not abandon his family,” Crim’s stepmother, Loretta Anno, told 27 News.
“We’ve had reports of his phone or being seen in Topeka,” Jefferson County Emergency Manager Keith Jeffers said. “So far, that has been no connection with him.”

Volunteers must sign a waiver acknowledging that Jefferson County, Kansas, will not be held liable for any injuries sustained during the search. Severe weather may cause search activities to be canceled.
Drones are also being used in the search efforts. Officials say a search drone was reported to have landed in the tree area on the Perry Lake side of Paradise Point. Volunteers who find this drone are asked to bring it to the Search Coordinator Table for return to its owner.
