TOPEKA (KSNT) – Tattoo art is on display at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library.
”Inked – Exploring the Art of Tattooing” showcases the history of the art form. Local artists have donated some of their work to be showcased.
27 News talked to one of the art curators for this exhibit about the reaction so far.

“It’s something that people seem to feel really strongly about,” said Sherry Best, curator at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library. “We’ve had a lot of people come in and say ‘I would never’. And other people come in, and they’re just covered. You know, so I think it probably is a matter of self-expression for a lot of people.”
The exhibit will be open until November 30th. It will also feature two live tattooing sessions during its run.
