DICKINSON COUNTY (KSNT) – First responders are at the scene of a major injury crash in central Kansas on Tuesday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported via social media at around 3:10 p.m. on Oct. 7 that troopers are in the area of the Chapman highway interchange near where I-70 and Rain Road meet in Dickinson County. Rain Road heading south into Chapman is closed as troopers work the crash site.
Drivers who need to get to Chapman from the highway are being encouraged to use the exit at Junction City and take Highway 40. The KHP also says people can exit at mile-marker 281 and use Highway 40 from there.
