TOPEKA (KSNT) – A person was taken to an area hospital Tuesday morning after being hit by a vehicle in a hit-and-run in west Topeka.
According to a Topeka Police watch commander, around 5:30 a.m., police were called to 12th Street and Southwest Gage Boulevard for reports of a hit and run.
One person was taken to an area hospital.

The TPD said that as of 6 a.m., the crash had been cleared and wasn’t impacting traffic.
