MISSION TOWNSHIP (KSNT) – A stretch of Southwest Huntoon Street in west Topeka will be closed for a culvert project.
Starting at 8 a.m. on Oct. 30, Southwest Huntoon Street will be closed between Southwest Indian Hills Road and Southwest Auburn Road in the Mission Township area. The street will be closed for the replacement of two cross culverts, which are about 75 feet apart.
Shawnee County Public Works reports there will be no detours posted so drivers should plan alternate routes.

“Mission Township and Shawnee County Public Works appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation during this necessary infrastructure improvement project,” Shawnee County spokeswoman Amanda Monhollon said.
