TOPEKA (KSNT) – Shoppers will soon be able to take advantage of expanded mall hours at a big shopping center in Topeka.
West Ridge Mall announced on Nov. 17 that it will be changing its hours of operation temporarily for the holiday season. It has also released its hours for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.
General Manager of West Ridge Mall, Casey Richardson, said the expanded mall hours will help give people more opportunities to get their shopping done for the holiday season.
“Longer hours give guests more flexibility around work and family schedules, help spread traffic out so the mall feels comfortable instead of chaotic, and allow people to do everything in one stop — shop, eat, take photos with décor, and enjoy events — in a safe, climate-controlled environment,” Richardson said. “It’s also a way to support our local and regional small businesses inside the mall by giving them more opportunities to be in front of customers during the busiest time of year.”

- Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27 – closed.
- Black Friday, Nov. 28 – 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Bath & Body opens at 6 a.m.
- Nov. 29 to Dec. 12.
- Monday to Saturday – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sunday – noon to 6 p.m.
- Dec. 15 to Dec. 23.
- Monday to Saturday – 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 21 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Christmas Day, Dec. 25 – closed.
- Starting Dec. 26 – resume regular mall hours.
- Monday to Saturday – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sunday – noon to 6 p.m.
- New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- New Year’s Day, Jan. 1 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
