FORT RILEY (KSNT) – A well-known comedian and actor will be visiting the Fort Riley Army Post later this week.
Fort Riley announced on social media that Rob Riggle will be holding a Q&A session at 1:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21 at the Riley Community Center located at 446 Seitz Dr., courtesy of USO Kansas. Riggle, a retired USMC reserve officer, will be talking about his recently released autobiography “Grit, Spit, and Never Quit: A Marine’s Guide to Comedy and Life”.
People from the community are invited to stop by the event to participate in it and meet with Riggle. There will also be a meet and greet session and book signing at the event.

Riggle is an actor, comedian and writer, according to his biography. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised in Overland Park, later graduating from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in theater & film. He has appeared in several films and served a total of 23 years in the military.
