EMPORIA (KSNT) – Manhattan wins its second 6A state title in the last four seasons in shutout fashion.
After the Indians fell short in the title game last season, Manhattan put on a statement with a 27-0 win over Olathe Northwest to finish 11-2.
This marks Manhattan’s fourth title in school history and its second in four years.
“These kids have worked for it and earned it,” Manhattan head coach Joe Schartz said. “No one can ever take this away from them; it’s a great accomplishment.”
