TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topeka police have arrested a 16-year-old Topeka boy for murder.
Police said the teen killed Kingston Scott, 16, of Topeka. Scott was shot Nov. 22 in the area of 37th and Adams and died at the hospital.
The suspect was arrested for:
- Murder in the 1st degree; In the commission of a felony
- Criminal discharge of firearm; Occupied vehicle with great bodily harm
- Criminal discharge of firearm; Recklessly at occupied dwelling
The arrest came one day after The Youth Peace and Justice Foundation offered a reward of $5,000 for information assisting law enforcement with making an arrest and conviction in Scott’s death.
