KANSAS (KSNT) – Take a trip on the Polar Express with the annual Christmas in Carbondale this chilly Sunday.
Throughout the town, people were able to enjoy different activities. From making gingerbread houses at city hall to enjoying hot cocoa and kids’ crafts at the fire department. Santa Claus himself even made an appearance to ask kids what they wanted for Christmas.
“They let me ride in on a fire engine every year, and that’s pretty fun. It’s not as fun as the sleigh, but.” Santa Claus says, “My favorite part is just visiting with the kids, talking to the children.”
When are KDOT’s DUI and seat belt enforcement campaigns?
In just over two weeks, Santa will return to Carbondale and every town around the world to spread more Christmas cheer!
