TOPEKA (KSNT) – Couples and families are invited to head to a local events center for a special ice skating opportunity at the start of February.
The Stormont Vail Events Center is inviting people to stop by in early February to take part in the “Sweetheart Skate 2026” ahead of Valentine’s Day. Two sessions will be held on Sunday, Feb. 1.
- Session one – 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Session two – 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“Whether you’re looking for the perfect early Valentine’s date night or a fun outing for the whole family, come share the love on the ice!”

Boxes filled with Kansas-made items for sale to celebrate 250th birthday of the U.S.
Tickets cost $10 per person for this event and are on sale starting on Jan. 21. Hy-Vee will also be present at the skate offering chocolates and flowers for people to purchase. You can learn more about the Sweetheart Skate or buy tickets by clicking here.
