TOPEKA (KSNT) – It was a big day for some Highland Park High School students on Tuesday.
Twenty-three students graduated in the mid-year ceremony held on Jan. 27. These students completed all the requirements in order to graduate early.
The group of students are being recognized with a special ceremony as well as with the rest of their grade in May.
“They are ready and eager to just see what life brings them,” said Highland Park High School Associate Principle, Leosha Giardina. “We do have a lot more students that met the requirement. However, they might still be in sports, or they might just not be ready. And that’s okay, because in May they’re all doing it.”
