JACKSON COUNTY (KSNT) – State troopers said two local residents are dead following a late-night crash in Jackson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at midnight on the night of Feb. 8-9 on U.S. 75 Highway under a mile south of where it meets 302nd Road in Jackson County. State troopers said a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling south in the northbound lanes of U.S 75 and collided with a 2010 Ford Fusion head-on.
The KHP reported the drivers of both vehicles were killed in the crash. State troopers identified the driver of the Pontiac as 62-year-old Nadine A. Aylesworth of Whiting and the driver of the Ford as 18-year-old Heather S. K. Browning of Goff.
