JUNCTION CITY (KSNT) – State troopers report a Junction City woman is hospitalized following a crash Sunday night.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash occurred at 9:50 p.m. on Union Road just north of where it meets K-244 in Dickinson County. A Buick Rendezvous SUV was heading north on Union Road when it crossed the roadway, entering the west ditch and colliding with a tree line.
The KHP report the driver, a 70-year-old woman from Junction City, was seriously injured as a result of the crash. She was taken to a hospital in Kansas City for treatment of her injuries. The woman did not wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
