WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Authorities on Monday identified the man who was killed in a grain bin accident in Harvey County.
He was Mark Klaassen, a 37-year-old man from Newton, according to the Harvey County Sheriff’s Office.

Nebraska woman injured after crashing into I-135 canal
Klaassen and two other men were moving soybeans inside a grain bin on a farm near Spencer Road and Southeast 24th Street, southeast of Newton.
The sheriff’s office said the soybeans suddenly shifted, trapping and injuring Klaassen.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other men declined medical treatment.
