TOPEKA (KSNT) – Facebook users are making reports of service issues across the nation on Tuesday.
Facebook, owned by the technology company Meta, is reportedly experiencing a service outage on the afternoon of March 3. Users began reporting problems with Facebook around 3 p.m., according to the website downdetector.com.
Facebook account holders are reportedly being greeted by a message that states “account temporarily unavailable” when trying to access the social media site. The reason for this is cited as a “site issue” in the message.
Issues are being reported in several metropolitan areas across the nation, according to downdetector.com. Facebook users have submitted around 10,000 reports of problems as of 4:30 p.m. on March 3.
