TOPEKA (KSNT)- The weather made a fast turnaround this weekend in Topeka. People used the opportunity to get outside and enjoy the warm temperatures.
People from as far as Junction City came out to Gage Park to enjoy the sun and everything the park has to offer.
Gage Park had many visitors throughout the day, with some families turning the warm day into a quick trip.
“It’s not too windy, the breeze was a nice cool down, especially with all the walking and all going all over the place at the zoo and then coming over here,” said Junction City resident Sierra Bomia. ”To the park, I think the breeze was, was like the perfect addition for today. We come here multiple times during the summertime, it just that we never get tired of it.”
Monday’s weather is predicted to be even better, with it hitting the high 70’s
