OSAGE COUNTY (KSNT) – Some AT&T users in Osage City are reportedly experiencing degraded cell phone service that began on Friday.
According to the Osage County Sheriff’s Office in a social media post on March 16, the department has been receiving calls about diminished cell phone service involving AT&T, and it is currently working with AT&T to address the problem. Users on the social media post reported issues of bad signal and Wi-Fi being down.
Bret Lewis of the sheriff’s office told 27 News that AT&T estimates repair of the disruptions by tomorrow on Tuesday, March 17. Lewis says that the reports of degraded cell phone service began on Friday, March 13, and the issue included users on FirstNet — an AT&T broadband network for first responders.

The office states that the service disruptions appear to be confined to the Osage City area, and it is unknown how many people have lost service or are experiencing service disruptions.
AT&T confirmed they are aware of the issues, according to the sheriff’s office. 27 News reached out to AT&T for comment on the matter and will update the story.
