OSAGE COUNTY (KSNT) – Law enforcement is warning drivers to be on the lookout for a moving house on the road this Thursday.
The Osage County Sheriff’s Office announced in a social media post that a company will be moving a house from an area in rural Shawnee County to a new home in rural Franklin County. The move is currently scheduled for 9 a.m. on March 19.
The sheriff’s office said the moving company expects the house to reach the Osage County line around 9:45 a.m. on March 19. The start location will be in the 5900 block of Southwest 58th Street. The route for the moving house is below:
- Head south on Topeka Avenue from the Shawnee County line
- Go east on 149th Street
- Head south on Adams
- Turn east on U.S. 56 Highway and head into Douglas County
