GEARY COUNTY (KSNT) – Geary County deputies reportedly found human remains Sunday near a local river.
The Geary County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies were called to an unspecified area along the Republican River shortly before 6:10 p.m. on March 29. Law enforcement found human remains at the scene.
The sheriff’s office said no foul play is suspected to be involved with this case. Deputies will release more information regarding the identity of the deceased individual at a later time once family notifications are completed.
