MANHATTAN (KSNT) – Wildcat fans can fly in class this fall to an upcoming football game with Arizona State.
The Manhattan Regional Airport reported on March 31 that American Airlines will be offering a direct flight to Phoenix later this year for the K-State vs. Arizona State football game in October. College football fans can catch a flight to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport then head home after the game is over.
American Airlines will be offering a flight out to Phoenix on Oct. 23 and a return flight on Oct. 25. Manhattan Regional Airport Director Brandon Keazer told 27 News he hopes this flight will become permanent to give locals a wider range of options when they are chartering flights out of the Little Apple.
