TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topekans spent Sunday shopping local and celebrating Easter at the Woodshed Market in north Topeka.
The market hosted its second annual egg hunt, featuring prizes for both kids and adults. Market owner, Angela Kearney, estimates over 500 people attended, drawing local vendors and food trucks.
“This is our second annual egg hunt. We’ve actually upgraded from the last time that we did this, and it’s really nice to see all the families that not only are coming out with children but also get a chance to experience the market for the first time,” Kearney said.
Nice and pleasant afternoon with rain chance later in the week
If you missed the Easter shopping, the Woodshed Market is open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.
