JACKSON COUNTY (KSNT) – State troopers say a Topeka woman received serious injuries after crashing her car in Jackson County last weekend.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at 9:05 a.m. on Saturday, April 11 at 150th Road and Q Road about two miles southwest of Mayetta. A woman in a 2017 Toyota Avalon was traveling west on 150th Road at the time of the crash.
The driver, for an unknown reason, went off the road to the north, vaulting into the air and rolling over, according to the KHP. The Toyota came to a stop on the driver’s side.
The KHP said the driver, a 68-year-old woman from Topeka, had serious injuries following the crash. First responders transported her to a Topeka hospital for treatment. The KHP reports she had her seat belt on during the crash.
