OSAGE COUNTY (KSNT) – Work crews will be starting a new project on U.S. Highway 75 this week, which could cause traffic delays for some drivers in Osage County.
The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) announced in a press release that workers will be starting a mill and overlay project on Highway 75 starting on Tuesday, April 21. The work will be focused just south of Jordan Road and extend north for five miles to K-68 Highway.
Kate Craft with KDOT said traffic will be brought down to one lane in the work zone with a pilot car and flaggers directing drivers through the area. Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes.

Workers with APAC-Kansas Inc. Shears Division will be on-site Monday through Friday during daylight hours. The entire $1.4 million project is expected to be wrapped up by mid-May this year.
