RILEY COUNTY (KSNT) – Police are warning people to avoid a road in Riley and Wabaunsee counties Monday due to high flood waters.
The Riley County Police Department said in a social media post that drivers should avoid the 5800 block of Zeandale Road on the morning of April 27 due to the high water levels which have flooded the area. This section of the road is closed until the water level has dropped enough for travel to become safe again.
“The road is closed until further notice, so please find an alternative route. And remember, turn around, don’t drown!”
