TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Topeka Police Department responded to a reported injury accident on I-70 in west Topeka Monday evening.
Kimberly Qualls with the city of Topeka told 27 News that the TPD responded to an injury incident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle Monday shortly before 6 p.m. at the Southwest Wanamaker Road and Southwest I-70 interchange. The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to Qualls.
An investigation of the incident is ongoing.
