TOPEKA (KSNT) – Every year, Dillons honors a local associate with the Kroger Community Service Award. This year’s award belongs to Nichole Miller.
Miller earned the distinction with exceptional volunteerism, leadership, and service to the community. She leads the One Can One Kid nonprofit organization with her husband, which recycles aluminum cans and turns them into cash to pay for scholarships for local students.
“She exemplifies community spirit and has such a passion to rally the team around her to help join in those efforts when we’re celebrating in our communities,” said Dillons spokesperson Sheila Regehr.
Alongside the award, Dillions will also pledge $500 to One Can One Kid in Miller’s honor.
