TOPEKA (KSNT) — New development continues to take shape across Topeka, including the opening of a new Rally House location on Southwest Wanamaker Road on Friday, May 1.
While Rally House is not new to the capital city, the brand has a familiar history in the area. The store previously operated near Southwest 21st Street and Wanamaker Road under the name Kansas Sampler. The updated location offers a larger space and a broader selection for local sports fans.
Rosita Villegas, an assistant manager at the Rally House, said the move will help the store better meet the growing demand for team merchandise throughout Topeka.

“We have twice as much product here than we did in the other store, and with all the tenants down the road, down the line here, we’re hoping to bring in more shoppers and new ones too.”
Villegas said customers were lined up as early as 8 a.m. on opening day, eager to shop for their favorite teams’ gear as soon as doors opened.
