TOPEKA (KSNT) – A national sports merchandise brand is coming to a west Topeka shopping center this summer.
Casey Richardson, general manager and director of operations at West Ridge Mall, said in a press release that Pro Image Sports will be opening a new location inside the shopping center on June 1. She said the store will be situated on the lower level across from the elevator.
Richardson said the addition of Pro Image Sports marks the latest new retail store to join the West Ridge Mall family amid major updates and renovations taking place there this year. Pro Image Sports operates more than 160 locations across the country.
“We are excited to welcome Pro Image Sports to West Ridge Mall,” Richardson said. “Adding a retailer with this kind of national presence and brand recognition is another strong step forward as we continue building momentum, attracting new retailers, and reinvesting in the overall shopping experience.”

West Ridge Mall is in the middle of a large-scale renovation project that includes the addition of new tenants and major infrastructure improvements. Part of this work also includes the reimagining of the mall’s entrances.
“We believe people are starting to see the vision for where West Ridge Mall is headed,” Richardson said. “There is a lot happening behind the scenes, and Pro Image Sports is another strong signal that brands are recognizing the opportunity and momentum here.”
