The wind will pick up a bit on Sunday with a 10-20mph south and gusting up to 25mph by this afternoon. Temperatures will be in the upper 90s for Sunday with a heat index closer to 107°, so be sure to stay hydrated.

The start of next week will bring a surge of heat, with temperatures climbing into the upper 90s Monday and Tuesday. Heat index values may reach 105 degrees both days. The wind will remain breezy, gusting 25mph both Monday and Tuesday.
The heat won’t last long though, as a cold front is expected to move through by the middle of next week, bringing temperatures back into the 80s by Wednesday along with several chances for scattered showers and storms.
