Waking up today to areas of fog across northeast Kansas. Temperatures will warm to the 70s by lunch time and back into the middle 80s by this afternoon. Winds will remain light.
Northerly winds and much drier air will move into the area, causing dew points to fall significantly. The less humid air will make for a noticeable change, with morning lows dropping into the 60s early next week.
Highs reach the middle 80s on Monday before temperatures will begin climbing again by Tuesday, reaching the lower 90s. Periodic rain chances will remain in the forecast through the week, while heat gradually starts to build back into the region heading toward next weekend.
