Temperatures start the day in the 70s for most locations. Areas near Highway 59 have dropped down into the 60s. The breeze has lingered through the overnight period at 5-15 mph. The sky is mostly clear.
Another hot afternoon with temperatures in the upper 90s and lower 100s. With the dry air in place, the heat index won’t be much higher than the air temperature. South wind sticks around at 5-15 mph.
Looking at a hot and dry week ahead. Expect temperatures to hang around in the upper 90s with plenty of sun all the way through Labor Day.
