What We’re Tracking
- Warm morning
- Several sunny days
- Hot weather through Labor Day
Temperatures this morning have fallen back into the middle 70s. Where we’ve seen cloud cover develop, temperatures have struggled to cool out of the 80s. Some spots have cooled further than that. The wind is out of the south at 5-10 mph, 10-20 towards the west.
Another hot afternoon today with temperatures mainly in the upper 90s, but a few lower 100s are still possible. With the moderately dry air in place, the heat index won’t be much higher than the air temperature as it peaks in the lower 100s. South wind sticks around at 10-20 mph.
Looking at a hot and dry week ahead. Expect temperatures to hang around in the upper 90s with plenty of sun all the way through Labor Day. Hopefully our next cold front will be moving in late next week.
