TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topeka police are investigating after locating a deceased woman in the downtown area Wednesday evening.
Kimberly Qualls with the City of Topeka said in a press release that officers responded to reports of a body around 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 in the 600 block of Southwest Tyler Street. Police arriving at the scene found the woman, who was death they pronounced at the scene.
Police have yet to release the identity of the woman. Law enforcement is continuing to investigate the incident.
