TOPEKA (KSNT) – Two local Topeka businesses will now be calling West Ridge Mall home.
Casey Richardson, general manager and director of operations at West Ridge Mall, said in a press release that two local businesses are set to hold ribbon cutting celebrations at the shopping center later this month. These include Linen Tree & Co. and The MIX.
Richardson said both businesses will celebrate moving into the mall with two ribbon cutting ceremonies on Sept. 10. Linen Tree & Co. will hold its ribbon cutting celebration at 10:15 a.m. while The Mix will have its ceremony at 10:30 a.m.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Linen Tree & Co. and The MIX to West Ridge,” Richardson said in a press release. “Both are established, locally owned businesses that Topeka shoppers already know and love. Seeing businesses like these choose West Ridge for their next chapter is exactly the kind of momentum we want to continue building as the mall evolves.”
Linen Tree & Co. is a local home and gift shop that offers customers their choice of gifts and home décor, according to West Ridge Mall. Its new location at the shopping center will focus on selling holiday gifts and décor ahead of the upcoming holiday season. People who show up for the first day of business will get 20% off the entire store and be able to participate in drawings for gift cards and giveaways.
The MIX is a clothing boutique store that offers a variety of apparel options, premium denim and other accessories, according to West Ridge Mall. The first 25 customers who attend the grand opening day will get an envelope containing a “Golden Ticket” for a chance to win a gift card to The Mix for amounts between $10 and $100. Staff at The Mix will also offer customers with giveaways and special drawings on opening day.
