EMPORIA (KSNT) – A new bargain store is getting ready to open in Emporia later this fall.
National bargain store chain Ollie’s is preparing to open up a new location in Emporia at 1686 Industrial Rd., unit 104. While a firm opening date isn’t known yet, a company spokesperson confirmed the store should be opening in early November.
“We know shoppers need a bargain more than ever right now, and Ollie’s helps families stretch their hard-earned dollars with brand-name merchandise at up to 70% off the fancy stores’ prices,” said Tom Kuypers, senior vice president for marketing at Ollies. “Shoppers will find an ever-changing assortment of deals on everything from food and housewares to toys, books, seasonal décor and more.”
Ollie’s is a national retail chain that offers customers their choice of closeout merchandise and excess inventory, according to its website. Ollie’s works with financial organizations to acquire leftover stock from companies that are shutting down, with the products later being offered to shoppers at Ollie’s store locations.
