TOPEKA (KSNT) – A lane closure on U.S. 75 is causing traffic delays in Shawnee County this week.
According to KanDrive.gov, traffic was was moving slowly through a construction zone Tuesday on southbound U.S. 75 near the Kansas River crossing north of Topeka.

KDOT officials said bridge maintenance work is underway, with the left lane closed while crews work on the bridge. Workers are expected to be on-site from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays.

The project is scheduled to be completed by Monday, Oct. 5.
