TOPEKA (KSNT) – State transportation officials report that an I-70 on-ramp will be closed soon for several days as part of an ongoing pavement project.
Kate Craft with the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) said in a press release the closure will impact the K-4/Auburn Road on-ramp that leads to eastbound I-70. The closure begins on Thursday, Oct. 8 and lasts until Thursday, Oct. 15.
Craft said drivers will be encouraged to use a marked detour route taking them to westbound I-70, Southwest Valencia Road and back to eastbound I-70 while the closure remains in place. She said drivers should plan for delays and account for additional travel time due to the closure.
