What We’re Tracking
- Well above average temperatures
- Plenty of sun
- Rain mid-week
Another warm fall day is ahead with plenty of sunshine and gusty south winds. Wind gusts could reach near 30 mph at times this afternoon. As southerly winds continue, dew points will gradually rise, making it feel a bit more humid.

The warmth peaks early this week, with near-record temperatures possible Monday and Tuesday. The record high for Monday is 93°, while Tuesday’s record stands at 91°. Highs in the lower 90s are possible both days.
Our next storm system arrives late Tuesday, bringing increasing chances for scattered thunderstorms. The area is currently under a slight risk for severe weather along an approaching cold front Tuesday evening. Some storms could become strong to severe, producing damaging wind gusts and large hail.

Rain chances continue through much of Wednesday and into Thursday. Along with the wetter weather comes a noticeable cooldown. High temperatures will fall into the middle 70s Wednesday before dropping back into the 60s by Friday.
Behind the cold front, a taste of fall returns. Several mornings later this week could start in the upper 30s, marking one of the coolest stretches we’ve seen in quite some time.
