What We’re Tracking
- Frost/freeze Saturday morning
- Pleasant Sunday
- Mostly sunny week
We are tracking some of the coldest temperatures of the season by early Saturday morning. Portions of central Kansas and north-central to northeast Kansas are under a Freeze Warning until 9 a.m. Saturday, while the rest of northeast Kansas remains under a Frost Advisory. Widespread frost is expected by daybreak, so be sure to cover or bring in any sensitive plants.

By Saturday afternoon, we’ll see plenty of sunshine, with temperatures climbing into the upper 50s. It will feel warmer than today as winds turn back to the south and decrease to around 10 mph.
Temperatures will rise into the middle to upper 60s by Sunday afternoon, making it the warmer day of the weekend. Even so, you may still want a jacket for much of the day. South winds will remain in place through next week as high pressure settles over the region and sunshine dominates the forecast.
Rain chances stay low, and temperatures will gradually warm each day. By Thursday afternoon, some locations could see highs return to the lower 80s.
