MANHATTAN (KSNT) – The Wildcats are faced with some QB uncertainty.
Avery Johnson has been listed as out for the second straight game, according to the Big 12 availability report. The backup quarterback, Jacob Knuth, is also listed as doubtful.
Knuth got the start in Johnson’s place against Arizona State last Saturday.
If Knuth doesn’t start on Saturday, that means junior quarterback Blake Barnett and sophomore Dillon Duff is behind him.
Barnett played in four games last season, being utilized as a running quarterback. As for this season, Barnett saw action in the Nicholls game, where he threw for 41 yards and rushed for three.
